Training

Cutter, Dryer and Process control training carried out on site or at our facility.

Typical training module:

Weighing conveyor (GBE Legg)
Remove mesh guard (1)
Remove discharge hood, (2)
Remove cross beam, (3)
Remove angle brackets (4)
Remove the two Brackets as   shown in previous picture (4)
Push a long 6mm steel bar through the hole and through the slot in the counter weight arm and across and through other side, this will support the counter weight, to adjust the tensioning bolt to it minimum
After completion of the above,
It is now possible to remove the weigh belt
By pulling the belt over the head and tail rollers and between the gaps left by the two removed brackets.
To replace with a new belt is the revisal of the above.

With the belt removed thoroughly clean all the internal parts of the conveyor, taking care not to apply any pressure on the sensing roller.
Flexure Pivot they are very delicate and are easily damaged and must be aligned as shown in this Photo   Counter- Balance weight are   pre-set and must not be   adjusted, they have been set to   give a positive pressure on the   load cell
Belt Tracking Stepping motor this is used to keep the belt running straight
And is controlled by a small guild roller which runs against the side of the belt
Belt tracking static roller this is   set to drive the belt towards the   belt tracking motor
Belt tracking sensing roller must be in contact with the belt at all times
The belt must be set equal on   each side of the head and   tension rollers
Constant Belt tensioning is adjusted by these tensioning bolts and must be adjusted the same distance and to give a 5mm to 10mm clearance, from underside of the counter weight arm and top of the cross beam
